Cookie Policy
Please review this page carefully before using our services.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies Astrocheq ("we", "us") uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and let third parties measure how the site is used.
2. Your Choices
On our international/global site, only Necessary cookies load automatically. Analytics and Marketing cookies load only after you opt in through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser to see the banner again.
3. Cookies We Use
a) Necessary
Always active — required for the site, checkout, and security to function. Cannot be switched off.
- laravel_session — maintains your session while browsing and checking out. Expires at end of session / per server session lifetime.
- XSRF-TOKEN — CSRF protection for form submissions. Session.
- astrocheq_consent — stores your cookie consent choice so we don't ask again. 6 months.
b) Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Loaded only after you opt in.
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics) — distinguishes users and sessions. Up to 2 years.
- _clck, _clsk (Microsoft Clarity) — session recording and heatmap analytics. Up to 1 year.
c) Marketing
Used to measure and personalise ads. Loaded only after you opt in.
- _fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel) — tracks ad interactions and conversions for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising. Up to 90 days.
When you consent to Marketing cookies, we also send a server-side purchase/lead event to Meta's Conversions API for the same purpose (your email/phone/name are cryptographically hashed before sending). If you decline, this server-side event is not sent.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies above are set by third parties (Google, Meta, Microsoft) once their script loads. We do not control these cookies directly; please refer to each provider's own privacy/cookie policy for details on their processing.
5. Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking Necessary cookies may prevent checkout and other core features from working.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
